Short Stories Contest. Women's Day

International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th and we have a new challenge for our students of 3ESO and 4ESO.




Write a short story about a woman who is a heroine for you.
You just have to follow the rules:
  1. Go to www.storybird.com and open an account as a student. You just need a username and a password. 
  2. You’ll be asked a passcode to join a class. Use 8PHFJ6 and click on join a class. 
  3. Click on Write and then Start with Art 
  4. Choose your images and click on Use this Art and then Picture Book
  5. Just drag and write!! 
  6. Your story must have a minimum of 5 pictures and a maximum of 12.
  7.  Write 70-100 words.
  8. Deadline: March 20th.

** Remember, when you're writing on Storybird (or any website) you should never include personal information like your name, your school, or your hometown

Poetry Contest

We are inviting you to write a poem inspired by peace and John Lenon's song Imagine.



How do you imagine peace? Do you think of love, friendship and understanding? Does peace have to do with freedom to speak, have a home or be equal?

Rules:
- Use the word Imagine as you title.
- You could use the lyrics of Imagine as your starting point.
- You can write any kind of poetry such as limericks, rap, free verse.
- Write your  poem as a comment to this entry.
- Sign your  work with a pseudonym and give your teacher a card with your name and pseudonym.

Deadline: January 30th, Peace Day.
